ONLINE STADIA DIRECTORY LAUNCHED

Final Third Sports Media Limited is pleased to announce the official launch of a new stadium directory website.

The online resource located at www.stadiadirectory.com contains information and news about stadiums around the world.

As well as everything you'll ever need to know about the venue, the site provides regular updates on the latest stadia news and international developments.

Final Third Sports Media Managing Director Chris Rivett explained: “Having identified a need for such a site whilst doing some research for a client, we decided to put it there. I am aware that this is a really ambitious project but we are aiming to catalogue every stadium in the world, giving fans all the information they need to know about venues around the world.

“StadiaDirectory.com is not here to compete with Wikipedia but to complement sites like that; what we're aiming to do is provide a central resource with key information about every ground, stadium and arena in the world and provide a site that will benefit thousands of people the world over.

“This isn't something that is going to happen overnight but having decided to embark on this project we saw little point in waiting until we had listed every ground and arena in the world before we launched. We believe we have got StadiaDirectory.com to a suitable position to launch and for the site be useful to people but this is very much work in progress and will remain so for some time.”

Stadia Directory is big on fan participation; the site provides a platform to share the truly special experiences that mass audiences bring to stadiums. Visitors to the site are encouraged to contribute their own photos and videos to capture the unique atmosphere of each venue within the individual stadium pages.

The site offers something for everyone with an interest in stadiums. Although largely focused on the B2C market, it is used in equal measures by fans, suppliers, clubs and stadium management staff. With strong partnerships with media groups and industry associations Stadia Directory also develops B2B relationships.
